Poor lead[edit]

The lead section to this article is awful. It doesn't explain what plant or plant model refer to. Are we talking about cacti, for example? 70.250.190.30 (talk) 01:21, 3 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I fully agree and tried to improve this article a bit. It's still far from good, though. I think the topic PLM is important, but the definition here needs a lot more work. Maybe a good start would be for a native speaker (I'm not one) to get rid of the awkward phrasing in this article? This person must not necessarily be an expert on PLM systems - there already is some valid information in this article to work with.194.138.39.55 (talk) 12:14, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
