No More Eatin video(s)[edit]

I think there were two videos for the single version of No More Eatin - one in colour ends with Plan B singing to himself in a mirror, the other in black and white starts with him playing guitar alone and ends on stage. Can anyone confirm who the second director was?

Table layouts[edit]

I think the new table layouts look ugly and can not see any worthwhile reason for changing them. I would like to open a discussion about what the layouts for the singles, albums, music videos tables should be - Ellm6 (talk) 13:06, 29 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

That's the layout we currently use everywhere for discographies. See for example Adele discography, Lady Gaga discography or Rihanna discography. It looks pretty decent to me.--Harout72 (talk) 16:07, 29 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
If you look at Rihanna videography, Tinchy Stryder videography and Kelly Rowland discography - the year/song/artist/director format of the table really works. I definitely feel that merging music videos + videos as a featured artist is a necessity - I mean there's no reason to have them as separate tables. Any other opinions? To be honest I don't see why the table layouts were changed. As this is Plan B's discography, all music videos listed will be by Plan B meaning there is no need for the artist column. I think it is important that music videos as a featured artist are listed separately as it makes the article better organised and easier to read. We do this for the singles as a featured artist, so we should be consistent and do the same for music videos. - Ellm6 (talk) 16:20, 1 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Makin' Love to Hip Hop EP[edit]

I have removed the Makin Love to Hip Hop (2010) EP from Plan B's discography as this release isn't real. This was merely the name of a playlist created by PlanBFanPage on YouTube. It was never released either physically or as a download so this release does not count in the Plan B discography - Ellm6 (talk) 19:14, 27 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Promotional singles[edit]

I wanted to raise the issue of promotional singles and reach a consensus over what a promotional single is compared to a full single release. In general promotional singles probably won't be notable (I've mentioned before here) but sometimes they can be, it depends. I also wanted to ask whether promotional singles should be classed as full singles on album infoboxes etc? If this is true then the number of singles taken from Who Needs Actions When You Got Words could be several more than what is listed at the minute ("Mama Loves a Crackhead" and "No Good").

I think full singles are anything that were released as a single and was available to buy in stores (online or physical). These generally are released in different formats, have music videos made (not always) and were played on radio etc. Promotional singles are songs that were sent to radio for airplay (like most singles) but were never released comercially as a single (e.g. "Missing Links", "No More Eatin'", "Writing's on the Wall").

Plan B also has some singles that were released as a limited edition with only a small number of copies made (e.g. "Kidz"/"Dead and Buried" and "More Is Enough") that I think would be best suited in this category and some singles were released unusually, for example "She Said Prayin'" from the BRITs 2011 was released on iTunes but then taken down after a few weeks and "Lost My Way" was available as a download with pre-order of Ill Manors. - Ellm6 (talk) 20:40, 25 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
