Is there a way to incorporate examples of the methodologies of place identity? Perhaps there can be examples from past urban planning projects to show what exactly place identity is as opposed to just defining it. In addition, this article could add more to how place attachment and sense of place differs from place identity. What are the similar concepts these three share and how do they differ? That's a very good point, I believe what I can add to this in addition to place identity is as Eobina pointed out add examples with special case studies of the different ways in which place identity occurs in communities. I will use the following sources: Soja, E. W. (2010). Seeking spatial justice. Minneapolis: University of Minnesota Press. I found one study based in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. It looks into social and environmental factors that are associated with place identity. Cuba, L. & Hummon, D.M. (1993). A place to call home: Identification with dwelling, community, and region. The Sociological Quarterly, 34 (1), 111-131. I will continue to look at other sources to help support the Wiki article. The content of your article is good; however, I would add headings to the structure to strengthen the flow. Additionally, I would remove the words "significant issue" because this language is too biased. Maybe replace with "has received increased attention." It might be interesting to have different headings dedicated to what place identity means for the different fields you have listed. Also, you mentioned cultural globalization, please elaborate on this concept more. Binoshita (talk) 17:40, 4 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I added in the headings and the case studies to strengthen the definition and concept of place identity. Eobina (talk) 22:44, 20 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Other wikipedias gave wonderful feedback. The article is well written and has very good content. I also believe it is important to add more resources to the material included in the article. I believe making this topic connect back to community development and the importance it has in the development of a city. With this in mind stay limited to one or two examples and provide more background information of what Place Identity really is. Grammar, and tone are good.
