Britney: Live in Concert and Britney Spears: Piece of Me Tour[edit]
In 2017, the tour commenced in Tokyo and ended in Tel Aviv under the name Britney: Live in Concert. Following that leg, when Spears announced the 2018 tour dates (North America and Europe), although it was announced under a different name (Britney Exclusive Limited Tour and later on Britney Spears: Piece of Me Tour), it was considered to be another leg of the tour under a revised name with the Asia leg being the first leg of the tour. All her tour legs (Asia, North America, Europe + UK, North America again) are considered to be the same tour.
Below are sources that indicate this following a claim that was mentioned regarding no sources mentioning this fact. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]
- The only reliable source there is Billboard, which doesn't mention that both are the same tour. "it was considered"..considered by who? Where's that claim? CC: @JonHoOfficial: Cornerstonepicker (talk) 02:22, 20 August 2018 (UTC)
- I have found a few more links which briefly mention that the tour started in Asia in 2017 however some are deemed to be unreliable under wikipedia's guidelines (I think). Until more information regarding this matter is found, a new wikipedia page will be created to add back the Britney: Live in Concert information and sources, and will be treated as her concert ninth tour; making Britney: Piece of Me Tour her tenth.
