Philip Mathias Wolsieffer (born 1808) who was a composer, born in what is now Germany, and spent two years in the New Jersey Legislature after arriving in the USA before moving to Philadelphia in the 1860s (see Egg Harbor City ; IMSLP category; LOC authorities for PM Wolsieffer b1808) but perhaps a younger relative thereof?
