Birthplace[edit]

There's a Kamienny Jaz about 10 km east of Chojna in Poland, but that town belonged to the Province of Brandenburg before 1945. Was Eyck born there or is it a different Kamienny Jaz? HerkusMonte (talk) 09:00, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Affair with Jean Ross[edit]

There is a story about him in the early 1930s.[1]. The the journalist and actress, Jean Ross, had an "affair with a Jewish musician called Götz von Eick, who subsequently became an actor in Hollywood under the name Peter van Eyck, led to her becoming pregnant, and she nearly died after an abortion."-- Toddy1 (talk) 17:28, 29 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
