Fair use rationale for Image:Logo-PLN.jpg[edit]

Image:Logo-PLN.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

"The PLN"[edit]

This wikipedia article consistently uses the definitive article "the" when referring to PLN: "the PLN". I think this is a mistake, it should be simply "PLN" without "the", like "KLM" or "BMW". However, I have not corrected this since it would involve making many changes throughout the article and I would like know whether others agree with me first. I have thought and investigated a bit more into this. The vast majority of companies with two, three or four-letter acronyms don't take "the": KLM, BMW, IBM, SQL, CNN, NBC, UPS, DHL, HBO, MTV, 3M, LG, HSBC... BBC is a rare exception.

In light of this, I am going to go ahead and remove "the" from "PLN". JonFredriksen (talk) 10:35, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
