Suspended Teacher/Banned Books[edit]

This should be addressed. A teacher was suspended for teaching a banned book. 68.174.190.12 (talk) 22:23, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Focus Newsletter[edit]

The focus newsletter is a fair and unbiased newsletter. In 2004, Paul McKendree was honored with best car due to having an awesome 1994 Ford Mustang 5.0 GT. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pmckendr (talkcontribs) 03:06, 13 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Andrew Bryson/Blair St. Clair[edit]

A couple of months ago, I tried to add the drag queen Blair St Clair to this page due to her appearance on season ten of Rupaul's Drag Race. This was quickly reverted, due to a violation of notability guidelines. I also notice a very large number of other people who have made similar or same edits. As an alumnus of this school, I understand the excitement around her appearing on national television, but it is not considered notable to appear on the show alone. If Blair gains enough notability to have her own article, then it may be added to the notable alumni section. I especially want to warn people of this potential mistake because I am getting blamed by user:John from Idegon on the page history for editing the page while intentionally logged out to avoid culpability because somebody else edited the page while logged out, which is not fun. This entry has been added multiple times by various IPs and named accounts. It's not going in unless the person has an article. A redirect to the TV show is not sufficient. See WP:WRITETHEARTICLEFIRST ::If this keeps up the article may end up protected. Meters (talk) 18:03, 19 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
And yet again. Protection requested. Meters, opinion on hatting/reverting this section due to unreferenced tying of real name to this? John from Idegon (talk) 23:51, 19 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I don't see any need to hat or revert the mention. At least one of the edits linked to RuPaul's Drag Race (season 10) and the names are sourced there. Meters (talk) 05:42, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I noticed that recently Blair got a page of her own for her musical career. Would it now be appropriate to add Andrew/Blair to the notable alumni page thanks to this development? Conrad Thompson (talk) 07:57, 22 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Not unless you can provide a reliable published source for their attendance. John from Idegon (talk) 05:04, 23 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: We cannot see what changes were made when you copy article contents to the talk page like this, so the changes cannot be evaluated for compliance with Wikipedia's policies. Please request specific changes in the form of "Change X to Y" or "Add X after Y", etc. Please also cite reliable, published sources to support your requests. ‑‑ElHef (Meep?) 19:24, 1 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
And we don't pre-emptively protect articles to preserve one editor's preferred version (let alone a new editor with no previous history). Meters (talk) 00:21, 2 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
