Please Update the Description[edit]

the plot description is a mess. it looks like a translation from a computer

I second this, it's pretty clearly some sort of computer translation, and it makes very little sense. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.12.140.24 (talk) 05:05, 16 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Apparently, this article does the original version no justice; I was just speaking with my wife who grew up with the original telenovela (~1998), and she described it as culturally impactful at the time, because at the time there were no other telenovelas like it; it was the first one she noticed that had the complexity of characters; before that, the telenovelas had characters that were more ideal protagonists/antagonists, and in this one you might root for the antagonist more than you ever did before, etc... and after that, other telenovelas seemed to follow suit by structuring their characters with more complexity. Anyway, I don't know if her perspective is accurate, but we looked it up and there doesn't seem to be much mention of the original at all, so please write more. Apparently, there is richer context in the Spanish version of this article, which would be nice to translate into this English version: https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perro_amor_(telenovela_colombiana), here is the IMDB of the original: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0224945/combined and there is a wider context in the following article where the telenovela in mentioned in the middle (also in Spanish): http://www.lafiscalia.com/2012/07/16/los-anos-tenebrosos-de-la-television-colombiana-perro-amor-1998/ --Rriehle (talk) 04:23, 2 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Spoilers?[edit]

The plot description has a lot of spoilers, should it be marked as such? Edgriebel (talk) 16:38, 17 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
