Back in the 1970s Perilly's cigarettes were among the most exclusive brands, as they were in short supply in Canada. Not a budget brand as they sold for the same price as Players', duMaurier or Export "A". Their rich smooth uniquely flavoured blend of Virginian and Turkish tobaccos along with exquisite packaging of black with gold trim would stand out from the more popular brands. The cigarettes were pinstriped with a small blue "P" near the filter, burning evenly from start to butt.
But alas, this brand of blue smoke faded away in the 1980s as did other niche contemporary brands of the day.
