Gaullism[edit]

I'm not saying that HZDS doesn't display aspects of Gaullism. At all. In fact, I think Gaullism is probably a relatively good description for them - better than 'right-wing populism' or 'national conservatism', which are currently used. IIRC, Sean Hanley (one of the English-speaking world's foremost experts on Slovak and Czech politics) also describes them as 'Gaullist'.

However, I dispute that the source provided is particularly indicative by itself, as it conveys the personal opinion of a single academic in a form that is unpublished. If he had written the same thing in a textbook about Slovak politics, fine. But having it reported in an interview in a minor newspaper with a distinctive editorial (far-left) editorial line is not a very reliable source. That means all opinions published in it must be attributed to the person that is quoted, and since the expert that was quoted is not notable, insofar as he doesn't have a Wikipedia bio (and is unlikely to get one soon), it should not be included in the article.
