Comments:

  1. Add links to Lackawaxen and Shohola Township in infobox.
  2. In former route articles, is it standard to list the junctions as what the roads were as opposed to what they are now?
  3. The lead of the article is very short. Can more descriptive and historical information be added?
  4. Same caveat about note and use of decommissioned as with PA 112.
  5. In the sentence "There is an intersection with Delaware Drive just after the impetus.", what is an "impetus"?
  6. In the first paragraph of the route description, you mention the route heads toward Shohola Township twice. Can one of these instances be removed?
  7. The sentence "There are some occasional clearings, but they do not last, with the forests dominating the surroundings." sounds awkward.
  8. Comma not needed in sentence "The old alignment of State Route 237 passes a pond, as the highway pulls away from the river and train tracks."
  9. In phrase "which serves access to Hirsh Pond", change "serves" to "provides".
  10. The sentences "There is another clearing, this time more prominent. After this, the clearings become more common." should be changed to say "The route begins to head through larger clearings as it continues southeast.
  11. "makes a spike to the east": Can another word be used instead of "spike"?
  12. Can more links to roads and places be added to the route description?
  13. The sentence "At the time the entire highway was unpaved, and instead made of gravel." is wordy. You can simply say "At the time, the entire highway was an unimproved gravel road."
  14. In the sentence "The rest is locally maintained, except for a piece at PA 434, where it is now Shohola Township Roads 413 and 454.", isn't a township road considered to be locally maintained? Therefore, they would not be considered exceptions.
  15. "37 and 137": indicate that they are state routes.
  16. Per the WP:ELG, the county column is not to be used for roads entirely within one county.
  17. Are the names for the routes in the major intersections table known?
  18. Can you add a picture of the route as it looks today, a historical picture of the route, or an old map scan to the article?

I am placing the article on hold. Dough4872 (talk) 01:04, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Done. And for #17, this is 1946, would even a name be known at this time?Mitch/HC32 13:31, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
After some fixes, I will pass the article. Dough4872 (talk) 16:12, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
