Pegz is considered to be one of the forerunners of Australian HipHop. The previous page (which had been deleted) contained information that indicated the significance of the subject. I am currently in the process of getting the text from this deleted page from the Wikipedia user Madman. I will be re-creating the page without the copyrighted material which caused it to be deleted in the first place. Thanks --Korp7 03:58, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As I recall, pretty much the entire article was a reprint of his bio from his press release. In any case, you've made a claim of notability, which is enough for me to remove the speedy deletion tag. I would suggest, however, that you concentrate on finding verifiable references from reliable sources to back up claims of notability. The best example would be non-trivial press in established magazines or newspapers (non-trivial meaning the press is about Pegz, not him being mentioned in an article that is primarily about someone or something else). Otherwise it'll end up on WP:AFD. If you have any questions, just ask. Precious Roy 10:52, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Never noticed it but you're right he was born in 1977 but his career didn't start until 1992. Dan arndt (talk) 00:59, 9 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Moved to "Pegz"[edit]

I just moved this article from Tirren Staaf to Pegz per WP:Naming conventions (people)#Nicknames.2C_pen_names.2C_stage_names.2C_cognomens. He is better known as "Pegz", which is evident from the bulk of the references within the article itself (except where needed for clarity) and in most of the articles that link here. sroc (talk) 13:12, 16 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
