Marked as unpatrolled[edit]

This article was marked as "unpatrolled" and "unreviewed". If I understand correctly, that means that someone other than the author reviewed the article and assigned a classification to the article. Modernist reviewed the article, performed some copy edit and then assigned a classification. What more is needed? Thanks! I have trouble believing that the early study "Woman Sewing" is actually an early Van Gogh. The technique is much too finished and accomplished to indicate that it's the work of an artist of only 2 years professional experience. Compare this with later drawings from 1883-4 and you'll see the difference.
