Pavlo-Kurtik Vilayet - possible hoax[edit]

According to the article "vilayet", vilayets were introduced in 1867.

The article Pavlo-Kurtik claims there was a Pavlo-Kurtik Vilayet in the 15th century, and that it was below a sanjak.

When Ottomans captured some territory from some XYZ feudal lord they often named it Vilayet of XYZ, but not as official villayet.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 22:47, 8 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
