"dominated Austrian painting at the end of the 18th century" Since he died in 1762 perhaps "dominated Austrian painting until the end of the 18th century" would be better. At the end of the century the new cool-toned neoclassicism began to make its appearance, even in Austria.--Wetman (talk) 16:11, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
