Smith, credited as Irving Garner (no relation to Erroll), recorded a deadpan tongue-in-cheek comedy solo piano album, "The Best of Irving Garner," Verve MGV-2078. Close examination of the album front cover may reveal a clue, hidden in the reflection in the music stand. The album is a parody of cornball pop pianists such as Roger Williams, Ferrante & Teicher, and Liberace, who were popular in the fifties. Tex (talk) 01:12, 13 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
