Notability[edit]

I have rewritten the lede so it is more likely to pass notability. I believe he passes under WP:POLITICIAN as being "Major local political figures who have received significant press coverage" (some of which relates to his being a long-time mayor and some of which relates to the charges of corruption and the conviction for extortion). He is unlikely to pass notability under WP:CRIME. Kerry (talk) 04:38, 4 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
