Location[edit]

I edited the text slightly to make it clear that Patchway railway station is not actually located in Patchway at all, but in nearby Little Stoke. Johnsjames (talk) 09:19, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Is Patchway still considered a town and Little Stoke a village? Whatever the technicalities are I would consider these places now suburbs of Bristol. I would also think that the station's location right next to Rolls-Royce Bristol would be worth a mention. Chardn (talk) 21:56, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hintory infobox[edit]

I had thought of changing the Historical Rail infobox to make it clearer which Pilning station each line refers to, but I need to check something. The infobox shows the Bristol and South Wales Union Line as having been used continuously from 1868 to 1948.

I haven't checked the sources used, but the Bristol and South Wales Union Railway article states that the line ceased operation in 1886, with passenger services restarting in 1922 and finishing again in 1964.

I realise that this infobox is already very long, but should it reflect this? Thanks.
