This article is completely biased and should be removed!

Biased

I find this very biased. The lines about revolution. PLEASE STOP STATING YOUR OPINION ON WIKIPEDIA. MAKE IT UNBIASED!

Paras is the man, he is very smart, tall and handsome crown prince ever. The article on Crown Prince Paras of Nepal doesn't sound entirely unbiased. I have checked it as per the opinion of the last person. The incidences mentioned and the the reports on the Sources mentioned do not correspond. Please make Wikipedia unbiased. We do not need people who like/ do not like Royalty of Nepal to be writing here their personal opinions.

Specially the sections where it says the the Palace tried to reach an out of court deal does not have any sources mentioned and as long as sources are not mentioned kindly refrain yourself from posting.

Wikipedia is not the personal playground of a few people who want to put baseless allegations. Many users assaulting this page have already received warnings for abusing wikipedia hence please refrain.

Um. I don't know much details, but when reading about Paras, I could clearly see how wrong this article was. TOTALLY biased. I am not a regular wiki user, but how can we flag this entire node for revision? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.54.85.65 (talk) 14:52, 14 December 2010 (UTC)

One Unaccounted for Homicide

Someone has included one uncited allegation of homicide (citations have been provided for the well known case of Praveen Gurung). If anyone has any information regarding this event/non-event, please include a citation in the text or discuss it here. --(Mingus ah um 02:03, 28 April 2006 (UTC))

This uncited allegation of homicide has been removed, but it appears that one documented allegation of assault was removed as well. When I have the time, I'll sift through the edit history and restore the missing information. --(Mingus ah um 21:11, 30 May 2006 (UTC))

For future reference, this is the text for the now absent allegation of homocide. There was never a citation for this incident, so, unless someone can provide something to back up this story, I agree that it should not be included within the text of the article: (Case of taxi driver homicide: In another incident, Paras was accused of killing a taxidriver with his vehicle during a drug-fuelled excursion) --(Mingus ah um 21:25, 30 May 2006 (UTC))

Incidents v. Allegations

I'm fairly certain that it's standard wiki policy to refer to allegations instead of incidents when we discuss criminal action/s which have not been prosecuted. If anyone has any qualms about this, talk about it here. --(Mingus ah um 01:53, 28 April 2006 (UTC))

Accusations

A lot of the events and stories told in this page has been made by the supporters of some political parties of Nepal who are against the Royal family of Nepal. As they (political parties) have been accused of spreading viloence and allying with terrorists (Maoists) of Nepal, the Royal family has been found taking actions to stop them from allying against the Nation's wishes.

Allegations and accusations should not be a part of Wikipedia and Wikipedia should be free of personal biases towards any events or persons. As long as facts and incidents are not factually correct kindly refrain from posting.

Kindly refrain yourself from posting contradictory, controversial and conspiracy theory statements. As an encyclopedia, Wikipedia believes in giving facts, facts, & facts and anything other than facts need to be omitted strictly.

Mr. or Ms. IP address: While I appreciate your concern (after all, wiki can only succeed if it incorporates a wide variety of perspectives into its articles), I would appreciate it if you refrained from unilaterally removing sourced information. If you have a problem with what I have reinstated, discuss it here, preferably with citations. I (Jack of all,...) have edited the Prince Paras of Nepal page extensively and worked as far as possible to provide the picture within the diameter of 'Acceptability'. As we all know there is a lot of defamation going on in Nepal and everyone is trying to put down someone or the other. Similar seemed to be the case in the Wiki Page of Prince Paras.

Please do not write more than you can provide from your sources...specially when you are alleging someone for Killing please provide accurate sources. The lines such as 'proofs were bought' do not sound good until and unless very professional and credible sources are provided.

If you have any problems within what I have done, please discuss before reporting biased facts.

Also, please provide the source for the line, "Since royal authority has been curtailed and the king stripped of most of his powers, there is a growing sentiment that the police should reopen the case against Crown Prince Paras." Please provide the source for "growing sentiment". Or else accept the fact that is as reported in the media. Do not provide more biased facts.

Re: The Removal of Sourced Information

Well... It appears that we have a second Monarchist (or the same one on a new IP address) on our hands who is interested in removing sourced information. I don't have the patience to deal with it. Just checked my watchlist, and reverted some left-wing vandalism for a change. Regardless, this page continues to be deconstructed by right-wing trolls; I only needed to glance to see that at least one source has been removed (again!) since my last edit.

Good luck to those who care about honestly defining this region, and those who would simply like to (collectively) work toward a decent article. I don't have the time to wage an edit war over a nation which does not fall within my primary focus. Peace. --(Mingus ah um 20:33, 9 June 2006 (UTC))

Article redone a bit!

I have redone the article by removing the news from sources and links which do not exist. Also, I request the monarchists and communists and other factions of Nepal to stop showing your personal biases.

More importantly, when you provide a source, please provide one that is trustworthy. There may be hundreds of links against one faction and in support of another. Wikipedia can't take all of them. It's our duty to provide neutral, articulate and trustworthy material and show respect to the situation by removing our personal biases.

An accident!! It could be treated as culpable homicide

An accident is one caused unintentionally when a licensed driver is fully in his senses, untoxicated etc. Deaths caused by 'accidents' by an unlicensed driver, drunk or those under substance influence, rash driving, may be treated as culpable homicide. Paras, given his behaviour, could have very well caused the death either by substance-abuse or rash-driving. What do you feel? Thanking You, Altruism ^{To talk} 08:34, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

Article's title. Crown Prince?

Should this article still be titled Paras, Crown Prince of Nepal when he is no longer the crown prince? Reggie Perrin (talk) 05:17, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

Deposed royals are still given their titles. We still have Pavlos, Crown Prince of Greece, Kardam, Prince of Turnovo, Alexander, Crown Prince of Yugoslavia, Prince Constantine Alexios of Greece and Denmark etc. even though the countries are republics. - dwc lr (talk) 10:21, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
