Ogbudugbudu[edit]

Ogbudugbudu is the name of one of the Egbema isenabiri. It is the name of the settlement found by Utilizing Perezigha, who is the progenitor of the Ogbudugbudu people. At the advent of the disaffection between his native Amatu people and his elder sibling (Oloduwa), caused by Oloduwa's zeal to save the Itsekiris from imminent extermination, they both left Amatu in Iduwini Kingdom to the Benin River area. While Utolu went ahead to establish Ogbudugbudu in present day Olere creek, Oloduwa was instrumental to the establishment of Opuama.
