Ford was 41 when the war broke out. A bit too old to be involved in trench warfare. As far as I know he was involved in the British military propaganda, but wasn't part of the Royal Welch Fusiliers (that was Robert Graves).--213.140.21.227 19:41, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Read any of the several biographies on Ford and there is no question that he served at the front. You are the only one claiming membership in the Royal Welch Fusiliers. The article said "the Welch Regiment." I'm no expert as to unit designations, and I'm not sure how to make that designation more accurate, but Alan Judd for one quotes a letter to Joseph Conrad, addressed from Ford with 9/Welch, 19th Division., BEF on page 290 of his 1991 bio on Ford.DagorausWhear (talk) 03:21, 12 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
