Profile for Papali'i Asiata Fauatea Poumau is inaccurate.[edit]

My grandfather Papali'i Fauatea Asiata Poumau was given an OBE not MBE.

On the 15th day of February 1961 the Governor General of New Zealand appointed Papali'i Asiata Fauatea Poumau to be the Samoan Plebiscite Administrator. (United Nations, General Assembly Official Records, Agenda item 48, Sixteenth Session, New York 1961 - 1962.)

The London Gazette (the official record of awards) has him in the list of people who were made "Members of the Civil Division of the said Most Excellent Order" (i.e. given MBEs), not "Officers of the Civil Division of the said Most Excellent Order" (OBEs). You can see the two relevant pages here (he is the sixth person listed on the second page; the first page has the heading of the section he is in).[1][2] It's also worth noting that the UN documents referencing his appointment call him MBE.[3][4]. I have added the bit about him being the plebiscite administrator to the article.
Are there any public records that state his date of birth and death, so they can be added to the article (they have to be public, as Wikipedia cannot rely on information added by relatives I'm afraid). Number 57 12:34, 6 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
