It says there were no public schools in the Early Republic[edit]

Yet Livy mentions in book 3 chapter 44 that Lucretia (daughter of the centurion Verginius) when to a school near her house in makeshift quarters. 75.80.181.218 (talk) 04:16, 30 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
