Some quick comments:
- "It is revealed that Stormfur and Brook Where Small Fish Swim return to ThunderClan from the Tribe in Twilight because they are banished: Stormfur leads the Tribe into battle against the rogues, but cats die because the Tribe is not used to battling other cats." I don't really follow this.
- "Brambleclaw, Squirrelflight, Tawnypelt, Crowfeather, Stormfur, Brook, Breezepaw, Jaypaw, Hollypaw, and Lionpaw" All ThunderClan, I assume?
- "He learns that the Tribe originally lives by the lake and decides to tell his brother and sister about the prophecy at the end of the book." Unclear
- Perhaps mention that the three main characters are siblings, and mention their respective genders?
- "To promote the book, the editor went on her third tour" Could we perhaps have her name?
- You link hardback on the second occasion, but not the first
- Repetition of "released"
The main problem with the article is that it doesn't seem to meet the general notability guideline. There are very few sources available, and information on the subject seems very scant. For that reason, unless more sources are forthcoming, I don't think that this can be promoted to GAC. I can't help but feel that the information in this article would be better suited to a "List of Warriors books" article, or an article on Warriors: Power of Three. I searched Nexis for any further sources, and found a few hits on kids' best-seller lists (from Publishers Weekly, The Leader-Post, Waterloo Region Record and The Santa Fe New Mexican), articles from Associated Press and Charleston Gazette placing it in the top 50 books overall, some articles listing it as coming out soon and an article mentioning it in passing:
Another young-adult series of books that has an involved mythology and lots of fans is the Warriors tales by Erin Hunter. They all revolve around powerful cat clans.
Although "Outcast" is the third book in the "Power of Three" grouping (HarperCollins, $16.99), it is actually the 20th book in the series, and will be hitting bookstore shelves in the next week. This one focuses on Firestar's grandchildren Jaypaw, Hollypaw and Lionpaw.
Kids who can't get enough of these cats will love the Web site www.warriorcats.com. It has information on the author, the books and the cat clans, plus games and other surprises. In all, I'm not certain there is enough to justify a separate article, let alone enough to support a GA. I'm not failing the article straight away so that you have some time to respond- if more sources can be found, we can reevaluate. J Milburn (talk) 18:33, 24 June 2013 (UTC)
- These are all the sources I am personally capable of finding given the resources at my disposal. I've tried Google, Google Books, and Questia. I may be able to locate some short things like the ones you noted above if I visit a library, but the nearest one with copies of Publishers Weekly, School Library Journal, and the like is somewhat far, and I would not be able to access them anytime soon. - I can provide you with the sources I mentioned. Contacting someone with access to HighBeam may also throw up something (though I wouldn't hold your breath). I'm not meaning to criticise you for poor research- I think you've produced about as strong an article on this topic as there can be.
