The article should be more neutral in tone concerning the potential of the OBR in my opnion. Some points that illustrate my concerns:

  • The power input given for the shear is quite high and it is unclear where the data comes from.
  • Other means or reactor concepts are not mentioned at all. (Loop reactors, extrusion reactors, alternate stirring concepts etc.)
  • There is no proof that the technology is scaleable.
  • For bioprocessing I foresee issues with solids, which has prevented the application of tubular reactors in biotechnology forever.
  • For fermentation as part of bioprocessing there is the challgenge of aeration which in a plug flow is hard to come by.

Wikipedia is considered to be as neutral as possible. Therefore my concerns... LGreiner (talk) 16:26, 14 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
