Great Chicago Fire[edit]

Old St. Pat's was built before the Great Chicago Fire, but was not within the area that burned, so the claim of being a "survivor" of the fire is misleading at best. See [1] for a detailed map and chronology of the fire. Kevin Forsyth (talk) 15:07, 16 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Lots of sources do describe the church as a "survivor" of the fire, but I guess you're right. How about this? - "The main church building is one of a handful of structures to predate the 1871 Great Chicago Fire." Zagalejo^^^ 04:55, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
