Myakka versus Miakka[edit]

I'm going to note here that USGS did make a case about the spelling back in 1943 (note this is around Myakka River State Park opening to the public). It's odd that the reference from USGS notes Miakka was on maps from 1915 to the time of the report. The report states no confusion would happen with changing to Myakka and that locally it used this spelling to differ from Myakka City, Florida (this is what I thought from the start but unsure when Old was added).
