A long list of articles can be used to reference this company stub. Some are found here [1] and here [2]

You might want to see this, which briefly details a number of projects they have worked/are working on. Now, I'm back to Black Swan Project. Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 15:45, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
this gives the company as 13 years old, therefore established in 1994. Thought that should be included somewhere. Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 15:58, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RMS Laconia (1911)[edit]

The Wikipedia article on RMS Laconia (1911) mentions Odyssey is attempting to recover treasure from it but not this article. Bob (talk) 19:24, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

SS Gairsoppa[edit]

Reports in the news late July 2013 tell of Odyssey Marine Exploration successfully recovering 61 tons of silver from the 1941 wreck of the SS Gairsoppa, 3 miles deep. According to the reports, this is the biggest such recovery ever. The Wikipedia article should be updated to reflect this. — QuicksilverT @ 15:04, 26 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed; unsubstantiated sources/broken links[edit]

Several links invalid/broken; no archived/cached or wayback machine; currently researching relevant data, material, and sources. Listed below are statements under research for validity per guidelines, valid sources. Signed: JENMEDIA 16:47, 14 April 2022 (UTC)

  • History... The company was poised to start the excavation in the late summer of 2003, according to the approved project plan and engaged Gifford and Partners to assist with archaeological aspects, but the project was delayed when Odyssey discovered and began excavating the SS Republic which continued until early 2003.
  • Gairsoppa discovery and beyond... In 2010, the UK Department for Transport awarded Odyssey Marine Exploration an exclusive salvage contract for the cargo from the SS Gairsoppa...

Thanks to all helping. /JENMEDIA 17:46, 14 April 2022 (UTC)
