Hits[edit]

The only proof of hits that I can offer you is the statistics listed on the FAQ page of Objection! MrD 09:39, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Macromedia Flash vs. Adobe Flash[edit]

Just a quick bit of trivia here: Objection is written in Flash 5, which a Macromedia product. :)

Japanese version[edit]

"There is also a japanese version that features five characters to select, the japenese "Objection!", and a "down" triangle that can be clicked to see more of the message"

Can someone confirm this? I've never encountered it. Darksun 23:36, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Gyakugene is linked to on the FAQ page. MrD 08:01, 29 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Codes[edit]

(karma) gives you von karma (edgey) gives you edgeworth (tunes) gives you music

Ok since someone is determined to have the codes in here and in the main article even though the site said not to tell people, I at least added the spoiler template. Icep 10:59, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Reverted addition?[edit]

This major milestone Objection is a blank page. It was deleted sometime after its formation. However, examination of adjacent Objections make it apparent that the Objection 499,997[1] was the 500,000th Objection.

Unverifiable, man. It doesn't say that on the website, it seems to be based on absolutely nothing at all... If the 500,000 objection was deleted, how come it doesn't go to a HOLD IT not found page like objection 9999999999?80.47.210.116 02:25, 30 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Unverifiable yes. It is also wrong. The objection listed as 500001 has the same text as the 500000 that i found. We can't both be right, eh? 80.47.201.92 22:08, 30 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • I have an idea: Try to ask the proprietor of Objection!. 80.47.201.92 22:08, 30 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Keep, if LimeCat is here, why shouldn't this growing meme stay?

80.47... - In response to your post on my talk page, rather than post on yours, as I'm afraid the last two quadrants of your IP address might change again, I have to tell you that the information is not false, as I was looking at the site at the time that the 500k was posted. I was tipped off by a GameFAQs forum thread on board 8. I would link to the thread, but I don't see much point as GameFAQs doesn't keep their forum threads very long. Regardless - that Objection existed, was changed to a blank page, and it was the same Objection as the other Objection linked to on the page. I find it convenient that you introduce this claim of 500,001 being the true 500,000th just after the site itself went down, making your claim unverifiable. The site's proprietor(who may or may not be you) probably deleted it because it said the site "sucks", among other things. Not that any of that matters very much now, as the article is unlikely to survive AFD, and the website itself is currently inactive. Not to mention that even if this article does survive AFD, that entire section could be deemed unencyclopedic. - Schicksal 04:25, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Also, I have to ask why you are agreeing with yourself on this talk page? Sockpuppetry is illegal, regardless of whether you are posting under an IP address or a username. - Schicksal 04:25, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Note the comment by Daranix. How could the 500001st objection be the 500000th if he says he failed to get the 500000th and links to his objection(the 500001st)? Not that a GameFAQs thread is a reliable source or anything, but I believe I've just proved your claim wrong in a truly Phoenix Wright fashion. Schicksal 04:28, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
If I were a sockpuppet, I'd at least try to be subtle about it ^_^ My previous claim, and indeed the claim i'm not a sockpuppet, are unverifiable, as the site stands. We'll just have to wait and see. (Or ask, like I suggested) 80.47.201.92 05:04, 31 July 2006 (UTC) (I posted the second pair of comments above)[reply]
GameFAQs Contests / You cannot view messages on this board. ? 80.47.201.92 05:10, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
How could the 500001st objection be the 500000th how? You do understand that Objection was probably under heavy traffic full of folks trying to hit 500000, right? (I assume thats the gist of your gamefaqs link?) Most likely, the database went all pete tong and didn't match up the numbers right. At least, that's my theory. 80.47.201.92 05:13, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You need an account. You should be able to imply what was posted there from what I said though, it's a thread about getting the 500000th Objection, and several different users were trying to get it. They apparently all failed, and 500001 was among the "failures". Therefore, 500001 cannot be identical to 500000, as you said. This message I've just written would probably work much better as an Objection!, too bad the site is down. Schicksal 05:16, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
*takes another swig of whiskey and throws the bottle to the floor* Durn kids! I know what I saw, gawd-darnit! It was bright shimmerin' white it was! Came streaking across the horizon wailin' like a wounded coyote. (But seriously, yeah... I blame the database. :) 80.47.201.92 05:40, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Here it is, Mr Schicks.

for the attention of schicksal[edit]

Pre-emptive whoosh. Can I suggest that instead of another revert to the conspiracy theory, we could instead just remove anything to do with the 500000 article that isn't currently evidently factual: Simply put, the 500000th Objection is now a random objection page.
