Page should be deleted or condensed.[edit]

It appears that is page intends to over compensate a somewhat historical insignificant person. Whilst the majority of the material covered on the page is not relevant to this particular person at all - but is related to the information concerning the Dervish movement and Mohamed Abdullah Hassan. In addition, the editors have hugely relied upon a single source - which one of the editors claims to have authored.

Therefore, i recommend that the page should either be deleted or condensed (by limiting to the information relevant to the person). Shirshore (talk) 21:25, 15 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I think the page should be expanded and continued to be edited , there is no reason or logic from your part as to why a well resourced page should be deleted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by XKeyse (talkcontribs) 19:16, 27 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@XKeyse, The reason is the majority or nearly all of the material on the page is not relevant for the particular person the page based on. Thus it should either be deleted or condensed. Additionally, the sources provided are limited as well as being authored by the combatants of the Dervish wars, which puts their impartially into doubt.Shirshore (talk) 01:51, 2 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Shirshore, you are absolutely wrong in claiming the material covered or cited in the article has no relevance to Sultan Nur's . All 81 reference are all about him , from the formation of the dervish movement , to the wars years from 1899=1904 and even the Illig treaty which was signed by him as the sultan of the Dervish and all the way to his death and tomb in Taleex by which the dervish themselves recognize the father of their movement. Why is should be condensed? or deleted ? because it doesn't agree with your clannish version of history?, and further more why should primary sources be disregarded in favor of the 1974-1976 revisionism by Aw Jama Omar Issa and Ahmed Farah Ali Idaja? — Preceding unsigned comment added by XKeyse (talkcontribs) 16:44, 2 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This is a good page but it is too biased.[edit]

The amount of detail is great and this page without a doubt should stay up but it's far too biased towards the Isaaq and against Darod, using only a few sources in the last article for the personal language that is used. I am an Isaaq (habir yonis), so I am not trying to defang this page, I think this page could become a featured article should it's language just be revised a bit. 92.237.155.25 (talk) 20:46, 25 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
