Colours![edit]

The alternating row colours are horrible to manage, especially if you add more routes. I'm going to convert them to have a 1 pixel high black border seperating each route, so that you don't have to go and colour coordinate. Easier to maintain that way. Seperate pages[edit]

Would it make sense, in the future, to seperate the list of Kentucky state highways to their own seperate page - "List of Kentucky state highways"? Seicer (talk) (contribs) 18:23, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Numbering[edit]

Did the numbering actually run exactly from 1 to 100, or is that just an approximation? The history section also needs some references. I can't find much; here's what I can find:

  • Routes were numbered by 1930; that's the first official Ohio map that shows them. That map shows KY 3 (south from Catlettsburg), KY 10 (Brooksville - South Portsmouth), KY 17 (north of Falmouth to Covington), and KY 19 (Augusta? - Gertrude - Brooksville - ...). More routes are shown on maps starting in 1931. There does not appear to be an obvious grid.

[1] also has some information, presumably from old maps. Can someone add more information and references? --NE2 22:24, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

KY 1696[edit]

What county was this road in?Alexlatham96 (talk) 03:51, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This article List of state highways in Kentucky (1000–1999) says it was deleted by 1980. That's 40 years ago. I tried googling and checking transportation.ky.gov search... nothing. You might try calling the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and ask someone there. Normal Op (talk) 04:46, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
