My favorite puzzles[edit]

At one time, there was a list of my favorite puzzles from the show that I put in the article. It has since been removed, I don't know who did it or why, but here they are.

US version, 1975[edit]

  • PORCUPINEAPPLE

US version, 1989[edit]

  • RAINBOWLOBSTER
  • BETABOOZEBRAIN
  • EARMUFFETCHING
  • SQUASHINGLEAMY
  • ZETABUDDHAIRDO
  • PIZZADORABLEAK
  • MODEMONROEBUCK
  • BOBBEDTIMEXICO

Australian version[edit]

  • SKYWALKERBIBLE
  • BEANSTALKBACKS

There was another chain on the show that was ?????????PIPER. If anyone else has the show on tape on which this appeared, please let me know how it starts. Also, share your favorite puzzles with me as well. - Desmond Hobson 04:41, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Update: With the addition of the screenshots, I have put some examples on the main page as well. - Desmond Hobson 13:42, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

1989 re-airs[edit]

Is Chuck Henry allowing GSN to air his version? because it says it has not been reaired JUST YET.

I think Chuck Henry stated in his contract that his version can NEVER be re-aired. - wvoutlaw2002 20:40, 31 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Too bad. I personally would love to see the 1989 shows anywhere because I got hooked on it back it when aired the first time. - Desmond Hobson 13:42, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

1974 Solo Game.jpg[edit]

Just want to know why "1974 Solo Game.jpg" is being targeted for speedy deletion when all the images are non-free TV screenshots. My advice is to keep the image on the page, because it would make more sense to me that removing all of them and because those are the only fair solutions. - Desmond Hobson 13:42, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Contradiction[edit]

In Now You See It#Finals, the article says "If the challenger won the jackpot his/her partner from the Elimination Round, who would have been defeated in the semifinals, returned."

However, in Now You See It#Solo Round (both versions), the article says "On the 1970s version, a returning champion would immediately retire after winning the jackpot, making the player they beat in the Championship Round the designated champion for the next game."

This appears to be contradictory. RJaguar3 | u | t 23:36, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If the champion won the solo round and retired, the player who was defeated in the finals returned as the designated champion. Ѕōŧŧōľäċqǔä (talk) 15:13, 8 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
So the text saying that the player who lost in the Semi-Finals would be designated as champion if the challenger defeating the returning champion and then won the Solo Round is incorrect? RJaguar3 | u | t 05:07, 9 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
