Falling rain map[edit]

Maps have been used at this article external links - as at

whereas there are red dots also active railways on this map.

I have repeatedly taken issue with the editor who places these maps on wa place articles as to their effectiveness and relative innacuracy - however they are still placed at articles

I would appreciate comments from other editors on this matter lest I have misjudged. SatuSuro 02:09, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Certainly from my own investigations the site, while great for elevations, is not useful for its mapping functions. The maps for Perth are almost 40 years out of date and contain errors normally associated with certain American mapping providers prior to their adoption of Geoscience Australia and Landsat data in around 2006. The countryside is dotted with towns that have never existed and I'm not sure I'd trust it for railways when there are plenty of more reliable sources. Gwalla[edit]

Does anyone know what this means? It sounds like it's in the Cornish language to me.Bodrugan (talk) 00:44, 10 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
