Strength estimates[edit]

The figure of 1600 mutineers in the article is sourced to a 1957 article in The Argus. This is at variance with 1100 (recaptured) in The Argus 14 August 1846. I've also seen another estimate of 600. Bjenks (talk) 17:30, 6 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
