Nonthermal plasma in food processing[edit]

The application of nonthermal plasma in food proceessing is sufficiently different from the other topics in plasma(physics) that I thought it deserves its own entry. Results to date have shown some interesting results, but it is still very much a lab scale process, not even close to pilot scale. Kilogray 20:44, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I added a table that offers some classifications to sort out different types of nonthermal plasma technologies. Kilogray 18:59, 24 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Expanding applications to low pressure plasmas[edit]

The application section as such is biased towards atmospheric pressure plasmas. low pressure plasmas satisfy the criterion of having electrons with energies much larger than those of the neutrals. I propose including and linking to other applications, such as Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition. If there are no inconvenients, I will add them over the weekend. --Anglyan (talk) 03:41, 1 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
