Mini edit-war[edit]
I'm not quite sure what this one is about. One of the core content policies of Wikipedia is Verifiability:
any material challenged or likely to be challenged must be attributed to a reliable, published source
An editor has challenged some material: it now needs to be sourced. Furthermore, under the Biographies of living persons policy,:
Contentious material about living persons that is unsourced or poorly sourced—whether the material is negative, positive, or just questionable—should be removed immediately and without waiting for discussion
In other words, if it's challenged, source it or it will go. SeveroTC 18:07, 21 May 2009 (UTC)
Did not mean to start an unnecessary edit-war. I know this rider personally, and thought I would clean up the content of the biography. Added appropriate references, and cleaned up tags. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mcphiest (talk • contribs) 19:51, 21 May 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined[edit]
I've declined and removed a speedy deletion tag from this article; there is a credible assertion (to me) of notability here, and the individual's record as shown here appears to me to meet the requirements of WP:ATHLETE in that he is either fully professional or competing at the highest level of amateur competition. Should this be contentious, I suggest taking the article to an articles for deletion process. Accounting4Taste:talk 16:38, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
