Section "Ski areas offering night skiing[edit]"[edit]

Do we really need an exhaustive list of resorts? It is very incomplete. Maybe create a category instead? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.226.49.227 (talk) 14:01, 18 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I went ahead and removed it.    FDMS  4    14:35, 2 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Origin of night skiing[edit]

There's a surprising number of web sites that claim Webb Moffet and Snoqualmie to be the inventor of and first ski area with night skiing but a simple look at timelines easily puts Bousquet first by almost ten years. Any ideas where that misconception came from? I could believe that west coast skiers in the 1940s could have considered night skiing to have originated there, not knowing about the tiny ski area thousands of miles away, but how would that somehow still propagate over 50 years with more accurate information so easily available? That said, with this misinformation so widely understood, I left in the reference to Webb Moffet to clarify and added two different sources that prove he was not the first and two other different sources that prove that Bousquet was the first.
