I'm officially advocating the merge of Park Place – Hudson Terminal to this article. The former Hudson and Manhattan Railroad service is a predecessor to this one. However, I don't want any material from the PP-HT article lost in the process. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 16:50, 11 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Support. The Park Place – Hudson Terminal article is too short to survive alone. Vcohen (talk) 17:10, 11 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Clear support as this is the direct continuation of the old service name. Same route, really, except for maybe the Newark end from before Newark Penn. The other article is so stubby, there's really nothing to loose. oknazevad (talk) 23:50, 11 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Question - Why hasn't anyone informed the original creator of the article about this merger? ---------User:DanTD (talk) 01:59, 12 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Never mind, I did it. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 17:28, 13 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hate to say it, Dan, but as the one proposing the merger it was kinda your responsibility. oknazevad (talk) 02:17, 14 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, so now that I have, why hasn't it turned up in any article alerts? I thought things like this were automatic. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 04:00, 14 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think merge discussions do, unlike AfDs, formal RMs or such. I think that's because there's no cetralized discussion area for these, unlike WP:AFD or WP:RM. I do know that merge tags can stay on an article for years if there's no one watching. I've seen them. oknazevad (talk) 04:09, 14 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, an anonymous IP merged the two articles, so I'm closing this discussion now. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 03:44, 23 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
