Why isn't there some discussion of the notorious corruption involving Tammany Hall, the Metropolitan, and its Wall Street promoters, especially Thomas Fortune Ryan and one of the Whitneys? It's not as if it isn't documented. DCDuring 15:08, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

IRT Affiliation?[edit]

I'm somewhat confused about companies like New York City Interborough Railway, Interborough-Metropolitan Company, and Interborough Consolidated Corporation; Was there any chance that these were affiliates of Interborough Rapid Transit Company that were also involved with the Long Island Rail Road affiliate known as the Long Island Consolidated Electrical Companies? ---------User:DanTD (talk) 14:11, 5 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I think you'd need to consider bankruptcy and the continuation of operations by a similarly named company. I don't know the best reference to sort it out. DCDuring (talk) 15:19, 5 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Green Lines[edit]
