  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
  • "...two-lane, undivided highway..." — The comma is unnecessary
  • "Route 53 intersects Route 10 at a partial interchange..." — Link partial interchange to something
  • "...with access to Route 10 from the northbound direction of Route 53 and access from Route 10 to the northbound direction of Route 53" — This sounds a bit awkward; maybe "without access from or to the southbound direction of Route 53" would be better. Also, I must comment that this looks like a typical parclo to me, even when zoomed on Google Earth, and that as such it enables access from and to all directions through two level intersections on Rt 53.
  • "...Parsippany-Troy Hills and..." — AFAIK, townships should be named "X Township" or "X Twp".
  • "This proposed freeway was to run from..." — Better: "The freeway was intended to run from..."
  • "In 1967, the northern terminus of this planned Route 53 freeway was cut back to Interstate 80. This proposed freeway, which..." — Too much of "this planned freeway" and "this proposed freeway"
  • 3rd paragraph in "History" is too short; it should be merged into something
  • Remove periods at the end of the cells in the "Notes" column in "Major intersections"
  • unbold "Route 5N" in "History", as it's already bolded in the lead
  • A map would be in order. Admiral Norton (talk) 19:47, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I have gone back and made the suggested changes. By the way, I have placed a request for a map at Wikipedia:WikiProject U.S. Roads/Maps task force/Requests. Dough4872 (talk) 15:35, 9 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The prose is OK now; waiting for the map. Admiral Norton (talk) 21:32, 10 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Just to tell you, the Maps Task Force is really slow for map-making, so it might be some time before a map is made, so I am not sure how long you'd want to wait.Mitch32(Go Syracuse) 10:42, 12 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The article has a map now. Dough4872 (talk) 14:19, 13 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Passing. Admiral Norton (talk) 14:49, 13 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
