Article tone[edit]

Hi, I came here by a rather odd route (through WP:CCI) and I was dismayed to find an article that sounds just a little too positive. A sentence like "Through its annual convention and a series of regional salons held throughout the year, they strengthen their community, inspire action and serve as an incubator for ideas that challenge the status quo and ultimately affect change in the public sphere" is so positive that I almost want to mark it POV. The description of Bloggerpower.org as "a non-profit non-partisan organization" is probably technically correct but seems to be rather generous given the overtly progressive nature of Netroots Nation. Again I don't quite want to mark it POV, but I do think it's unencyclopedic. As a consequence of this, I've put a {{Inappropriate tone}} template on the article. Would someone be willing to revise the article so that it sounds a little more, well, stuffy? Ozob (talk) 06:57, 22 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

recent cleanup I done did[edit]

I fixed all the badly formatted links I could find. removed a bunch to netroots own site. I think one link remains to their official medium account, now formatted as a citation. I removed the tag about improper link formatting.

this still needs heavy copy-editing. it reads like PR copy. So, I added the "advert" tag. skakEL 00:08, 29 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
