2002 Breasted prize[edit]

I corrected the publication date of "Indigenous Cartography" from 2002 to 1998, perhaps 2002 was the date of the award, as it was at that time awarded every five years for each region,[1] but I believe for books, not articles, and actually only up until 1999. Citation needed. Isaaccurtis (talk) 18:35, 18 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect attribution[edit]

It appears that two people with similar names have been confused in a couple of sources. This article about Neil L. Whitehead has a link to his University of Wisconsin-Madison page that has a listing of his published books. Nowhere in that official listing is the "2014. My Genes Made Me Do It!: Homosexuality and the Scientific Evidence. Ed. with Briar Whitehead. Whitehead Associates.".

Several issues are present here, including the above mentioned book was published in 1999, NOT 2104. Secondly, although listed as a book on Amazon.com, this is an obvious mis-attribution on the part of Amazon. There is no evidence anywhere else that an anthropologist from England, whose life work had nothing to do with the subject matter of the above book, wrote it with a supposed brother from New Zealand.

Whomever the other Neil Whitehead is/was, it is not the person this Wiki entry is about. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.93.83.25 (talk) 15:52, 4 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This the the Neil Whitehead being referred to. Lol no wonder the misattribution. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.57.204.182 (talk) 00:17, 24 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
