Description[edit]
Why does the language of this article treat Astrology as if it's fact-based? Should this be handled like all religious beliefs, and couched in terms like "according to the beliefs of..." and "adherents believe..."? PatrickLMT (talk) 12:17, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
Requested move 19 March 2018[edit]

The result of the move request was: Just by looking at the arguments below, the consensus seems is move. 4 people are in favour of the proposal and 1 is for making a disambiguation. With that result, it would be 80% in favour of redirecting Negative sign and Positive sign to Plus and minus signs. Thus, there is consensus for that as well. – For a vast majority of people, the words "positive sign" and "negative sign" instantly always refer to the plus and minus signs. If there's any sort of primary topic for these two terms, it would definitely be the math symbols. I'd propose having "Positive sign" and "Negative sign" redirect to Plus and minus signs, having a hatnote at the top of the math page linking to these two stub astrology pages. I'm not sure what the new title for these two astrological pages should be (feel free to suggest better ones), but this really needs to change. A majority of users should not be WP:SURPRISED when they type "negative sign" into the search bar and end up on this astrology page instead of the math symbols that the phrases almost always refer to.
