Photographs[edit]

Currently this article does not have photographs. Those that were added recently were deleted. Why was that? Which images should be added to the article? --Dreddmoto (talk) 18:57, 18 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

One of the images had suspicious copyright status and I have nominated it for deletion on Commons. The quality of the postal stamp is really low and the third did not make an illustrative aid to understanding the content. Anyway, this is rather a poor article that is supposed to cover more than two millenniums of period. I think pictures in such an article should really have an encyclopedic value, as it is mentioned in Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Images. Pahlevun (talk) 16:28, 19 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Pahlevun, thanks for replying. I had not seen what you linked to and found it informative. That considered, I think that there are enough images in Category:Navy of Iran to choose one or two for the Pahlavi dynasty and IRI sections. Which images do you think would be good additions?
