Museum status[edit]

Mueum does not exist, and does not hold a collection. I have tweaked article accordingly and removed categories. A museum cannot be included in museum categories until it exists. Except in Category:Proposed Museums in the United States.E.M.Gregory (talk) 16:00, 17 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Future Women's History Museum on the Mall[edit]

I took out references to the future Smithsonian Women's History museum on the Mall. It's unclear how or if the two museums / ideas will merge in the future. If someone suggests a revert that's fine too but I think as it was it was misleading that these two things are separate. There's the NWHM and the Smithsonian American Women's History Initiative (AWHI). For full disclosure - I am employed with the Smithsonian AWHI currently and just want to make sure the distinction between these two things is clear while avoiding of any COI issues on my part. It would seem the text that was here should be moved over to the main Smithsonian Institution article. Kellyjeanne9 (talk) 19:38, 23 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
