@FuzzyMagma: I'm in the process of reviewing the article. In general, I'm focused on it's prose, clarity of language, and verifiable inline citations. In my opinion, the language in the lead is unclear and leads to confusion. Specifically for this tag, agreement as to what? Why was there need for agreement? I think the opening of the article should simply be

Following the 1976 Sudanese coup attempt, a national reconciliation (Arabic: المصالحة الوطنية) was reached on 7 July 1977, where Nimeiri and al-Mahdi signed an agreement that readmitted the opposition in exchange for the dissolution of the National Front.
