Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because it is the legacy organization of a movement started in 1927 (89 years ago) in the United States. The work of this organization has improved interfaith understanding, racial justice, and inclusion in ground-breaking ways for nearly nine decades.

Is there any there there?[edit]

Removed a bunch of cruft, laundry list, mission statement, etc. The article is now three sentences long, and a quick internet search doesn't reveal any news coverage beyond "it exists, and sometimes its members give out awards". Wondering if we need the article for now. Ignatzmicetalk 14:49, 23 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
