Narendra NagarNarendranagar – In line with other Indian cities/towns naming conventions, i.e. Ulhasnagar, Pratapnagar etc. Hemant DabralTalk 08:05, 30 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 05:00, 31 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

And also:-

  • Oppose WP:INDIA contributor here and I am not convinced with the reason provided by Hemant Dabral. We depend on official and media sources to decide the name and not some unwritten naming conventions. The sources in the article show that they already are at their WP:COMMONNAME. e.g. Narendra Nagar [1]. If you have a reason permitted by our rename policies then please start a RM discussion using one of them. regards. --DBigXray 14:00, 30 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose for the reasons given by DBigXray  — Amakuru (talk) 16:33, 7 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
