Not Okinawan[edit]

It should be noted, that the leading actors are not Okinawan, nor do they pass as Okinawan, both in optics and in acting. On the other hand Sakai Masaaki in the NHK series "Churasan" totally passes as Okinawan through his role and very convincing acting. The leading roles in Nada Sou Sou on the other hand look and feel like "Naicha" (Mainlanders). And their acting feels like a desperate (and almost creepy) attempt to emulate Uchina. Throwing in Uchina words and ending sentences on "-sa~" doesn't make a role Okinawan. The mistake lies clearly in casting, scripting and directing. In the end the film feels like a cheap way to cash-in on the Okinawa hype begun by "Churasan". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 180.7.45.227 (talk) 09:16, 12 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
